Tom Mutz launches Unique Indoor Comfort after he and associates purchase Iron Fireman Heating and Cooling of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A journey of a thousand miles begins with just a single step!

Leading the Marketing in High-Velocity

Mutz and Unique Indoor Comfort transform the greater Chicago air-conditioning market by introducing high velocity air conditioning, a revolutionary air conditioning option for homes without ductwork.

1973
New Leadership

Tom Mutz’s son Frank joins the Atlanta operation, quickly ascending the ranks where he now stands as Chairman of the Board for Unique Indoor Comfort, embracing ownership and leadership roles in many of the affiliated companies.
